Softball Recap: St. Augustine Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Augustine Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-4 to the Desert Christian Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly 12 runs.

St. Augustine Catholic's record now sits at 7-11. As for Desert Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-15.

St. Augustine Catholic and Desert Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. The Wolves will challenge Morenci at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (217 vs. 102). Meanwhile, Desert Christian (ranked 170th) will meet Tanque Verde (ranked 35th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
