Sinton had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Rockport-Fulton with a sharp 13-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Sinton, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Nate Mutchler was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Julian Suarez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Sinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockport-Fulton only posted an OBP of .273.

Sinton pushed their record up to 20-5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rockport-Fulton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11-1.

Coming up, Sinton will head out to square off against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pirates 2.2, the Warriors 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Rockport-Fulton, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Calhoun at 7:00 p.m.
