Fond du Lac hasn't had much luck against Appleton North recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cardinals will host the Lightning at 7:00 p.m. Appleton North took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fond du Lac, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Fond du Lac beat Appleton East 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Fond du Lac had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-12, 25-14, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Appleton North came up short against Appleton East on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Appleton North was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Appleton East's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-22.

Fond du Lac's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Appleton North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-27.
