Lincoln was forced to take a big defeat against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Huron River Rats a 6-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Railsplitters: when they faced off against the River Rats on Monday, they had to take a 10-4 loss.

Lincoln's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason Labadie, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave Labadie a new career-high. Another was Aidan Sullivan, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Lincoln's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Huron, they dropped their record down to 3-9-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against the River Rats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
