Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Beats Moberly for Their Third Straight Win

Moberly came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Oak Grove, but Elias Carillo wouldn't allow it. The Panthers walked away with a 70-59 win over the Spartans on Friday with plenty of help from Carillo, who shot 73% from the field on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds. He has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 71% every time he's hit the court this season.

Despite the loss, Moberly still got an impressive performance from Collin Knox, who posted ten points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Cameron Doubrava, who put up 14 points and three steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Oak Grove, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 76.0 points this season. As for Moberly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
