Soccer Recap: Dr. Phillips Comes Up Short

Dr. Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Winter Park Wildcats, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Dr. Phillips now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Winter Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Dr. Phillips didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Cypress Creek on the 16th. Winter Park has also already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Lake Buena Vista on the 16th.
