West Monroe has gone 8-2 against Ouachita Parish recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rebels are taking a road trip to face off against the Lions at 5:30 p.m. West Monroe will be strutting in after a win while Ouachita Parish will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, West Monroe turned things around against Neville on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 5-0 shutout. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 18, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Ouachita Parish was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to Alexandria.

Ouachita Parish saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Madison, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Ouachita Parish's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-10. As for West Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

West Monroe was able to grind out a solid win over Ouachita Parish in their previous meeting back in March, winning 15-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
