Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Comes Up Short

Mountain Ridge lost against Southern back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Mountain Ridge came up short against Southern, falling 13-3. The Miners just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge is taking a road trip to face off against Berkeley Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain Ridge is facing Berkeley Springs at the right time seeing as Berkeley Springs is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southern, they will be playing at home against Allegany at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
