Bearden is 4-0 against Sullivan East since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. Bearden will be strutting in after a win while Sullivan East will be coming in after a loss.

Bearden is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Independence, who was ranked 24th at the time (Bearden was ranked third). Bearden came out on top against Independence by a score of 64-55 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sullivan East came up short against John Battle on Monday and fell 63-51.

Sullivan East dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bearden, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Bearden was able to grind out a solid win over Sullivan East in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, winning 76-64. Will Bearden repeat their success, or does Sullivan East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
