Softball Recap: Thurston Colts vs. Eagle Point Eagles
Thurston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 17-12 to the Eagle Point Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-4 loss on Saturday.
Syren Ferguson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Mallory McGuire, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
