Berkeley had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They blew past the Cane Bay Cobras 60-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-19 back in January.

Berkeley was led to victory by Madison Thomas and Amani Mccray. Thomas posted 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals, while Mccray went 7-for-9 on her way to 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Mccray a new career-high in field goal percentage (78%). Ta'Lia Porchia was another key player, putting up six points.

Berkeley pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Cane Bay, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
