Volleyball Recap: Union County Panthers vs. Ringgold Tigers
Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ringgold Tigers.
After all that action, the final score was 25-13, 25-5.
Ringgold can attribute much of their success to Aleia Harris, who had six aces. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in aces.
Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Ringgold, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-12.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe the next time they take the court. Union County will head out to face Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Ringgold will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
