Baseball Recap: Stewartsville Comes Up Short

Stewartsville fell victim to St. Joseph Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Lions. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 22-6 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stewartsville has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for St. Joseph Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Coming up, Stewartsville will take on South Holt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Joseph Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Osborn on the 29th.
