Soccer Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shelbyville Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in March.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Shelbyville Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will face off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shelbyville Central, they will take on Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shelbyville Central are facing Lincoln County at the right time seeing as Lincoln County are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
