Softball Recap: Terrebonne's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Terrebonne had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt South Lafourche on Friday. The Tigers never let the Tarpons get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Tigers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st.

BRALYN DEHART made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. DEHART was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on ELLA DUPRE, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was JA'LISE STEWART, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Terrebonne's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-19. As for South Lafourche, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrebonne will host Covenant Christian Academy on Monday. As for South Lafourche, they will be playing at home against South Terrebonne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
