It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Belen Jesuit ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Coral Park Rams. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Belen Jesuit got a great performance from Max Aspuru as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. Aspuru has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
