Soccer Game Preview: Rocktown vs. Spotswood

Rocktown is a perfect 4-0 against Spotswood since April of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raptors will host the Trailblazers. Rocktown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Rocktown took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They never let Broadway get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Rocktown in their matchups with Broadway: they've now won four in a row.

Rocktown hit Broadway with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caleb Zook, Michael Bayongwa, Peyton White, and Lues Modir.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Spotswood walked away with it. They won by a goal and slipped past the Knights 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Spotswood's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Turner Ashby are ranked 35th).

Spotswood's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Rocktown, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2.
