Baseball Game Preview: Shippensburg Greyhounds vs. Boiling Springs Bubblers

The Shippensburg Greyhounds will square off against the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Shippensburg came up short against James Buchanan and fell 9-4. The loss continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, while Boiling Springs put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for West Perry. The Bubblers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 4-0.

The result came thanks to Dom Beck's shutout, as he gave up just four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Labuda, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Flor, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Shippensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Boiling Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Shippensburg skirted past Boiling Springs 5-4 when the teams last played on April 14th. Do the Greyhounds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bubblers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
