Baseball Recap: Lake Worth Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sports Leadership & Management on Monday, Lake Worth Christian came back down to earth. The Lake Worth Christian Defenders fell 10-5 to the Glades Day Gators on Tuesday. The Defenders have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bryce VandenBerg was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Lex Wilson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lake Worth Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Glades Day, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Worth Christian will head out to challenge Somerset Academy - Canyons at 3:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Glades Day, they will challenge Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
