Volleyball Recap: Nebraska Lutheran Takes a Loss

Nebraska Lutheran lost against Osceola back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Samantha Hueske paced Nebraska Lutheran's offense, picking up 19 kills. Hueske got some help from Autumn Malchow and her 21 assists. Malchow also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hallie Spreeman, each putting up two.

Osceola's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalisyn Prososki, who had nine digs and two assists. That's the most assists Prososki has posted over her last nine matchups.

Nebraska Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Osceola, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.

Nebraska Lutheran has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Twin River on the 24th. As for Osceola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against High Plains on the 24th.
