Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Boca Raton Bobcats. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in April of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Boca Raton scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Boca Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Atlantic will take on Lake Worth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Boca Raton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
