Recap: Bridger Scouts vs. Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades

The Bridger Scouts's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against Reed Point/Rapelje as Bridger made off with a 56-36 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Bridger has posted yet this season.

Marshall Ulmer and Landen Bryant certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Ulmer dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Bryant scored nine points along with six assists. Bryant continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Bridger now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6.

Bridger will be playing in front of their home fans against Plenty Coups at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Plenty Coups is ranked 102nd, while Bridger is ranked 89th). Reed Point/Rapelje won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Absarokee at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Absarokee comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
