Football Game Preview: Groton School vs. Rivers

Rivers will challenge Groton School on the road at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Rivers aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.

Rivers had a rough outing against Thayer Academy two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Rivers made easy work of St. George's last Saturday and carried off a 37-13 victory.

Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Groton School as they fell 26-28 to Middlesex. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Rivers's win lifted them to 2-2 while Groton School's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll find out if Rivers can add another positive mark to their record or if Groton School can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Rivers's step.
