Volleyball Game Preview: Schoharie Storm vs. Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs

The Schoharie Storm are taking a road trip to face off against the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Schoharie is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Galway just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Storm have suffered since September 26, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cobleskill-Richmondville earned a 3-1 win over Cohoes on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Schoharie's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Schoharie took their win against Cobleskill-Richmondville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
