Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Prairie Ridge

The Central Rockets will face off against the Prairie Ridge Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Saturday, Central beat Belvidere North 3-1.

Meanwhile, Prairie Ridge kept a clean sheet against Dundee-Crown on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chargers, sneaking past 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Prairie Ridge's one-goal win came courtesy of Ava Gertz, who's now up to 13 this season.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Prairie Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-3.

Everything went Central's way against Prairie Ridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Central made off with an 8-1 victory. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
