Basketball Recap: Innovations International Ambassadors vs. Mountain View Christian Saints
The Innovations International Ambassadors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mountain View Christian with a sharp 73-47 win. Innovations International has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.
Despite the defeat, Mountain View Christian saw an underclassman step up: Matthew Lindsey dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindsey has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Dobbins, who scored seven points.
Innovations International's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mountain View Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Innovations International will take on the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (American Heritage Academy is ranked 107th, while the Ambassadors are ranked 83rd). As for Mountain View Christian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on February 9th.
