Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fontana Steelers, falling 75-39. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1059th, while the Steelers are ranked 400th).

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Fontana, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will face off against Carter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame is facing Carter at the right time seeing as Carter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fontana, they will challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
