Soccer Game Preview: Sayreville vs. J.P. Stevens

The Sayreville Bombers are taking a road trip to square off against the J.P. Stevens Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sayreville's offense. They fell just short of Colonia by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when J.P. Stevens challenged Monroe Township on Thursday. The Hawks took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The loss continues a trend for J.P. Stevens in their meetings with Monroe Township: they've now lost eight in a row.

Sayreville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for J.P. Stevens, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
