Rosemont hasn't had much luck against El Dorado recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rosemont Wolverines will look to defend their home field against the El Dorado Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Rosemont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
The home team had won the previous six meetings between Rosemont and Galt, and Rosemont kept the tradition alive. Rosemont never let Galt get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the match before.
Gavin Terry made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Rosemont's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 2-0-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Terry was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.

In other batting news, James Lara was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Patrick Gorman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Rosemont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, El Dorado beat Argonaut 3-0 on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Jackson Miller, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Argonaut off the board. Miller has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on JJ Allen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Rosemont now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for El Dorado, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Rosemont might still be hurting after the 17-7 loss they got from El Dorado in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Rosemont have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
