Basketball Recap: Stoutland Comes Up Short

Stoutland lost against Iberia back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stoutland Tigers lost to the Iberia Rangers on the road by a 79-65 margin.

Chloe Edwards continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Iberia, almost dropping a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Edwards has posted since back in December of 2024. Acelyn Bauer was another key player, going 6-for-11 on her way to 17 points.

Stoutland's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Iberia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Stoutland nor Iberia have any future games scheduled.
