Woodland scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Victory Christian Lions. The Bobcats were up 45-29 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

It was another big night for Amelia Haney, who almost dropped a triple-double on 35 points, 11 boards, and nine steals for Victory Christian. Haney has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 34 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addie Lee, who posted 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Woodland has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for Victory Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-12.
