Softball Preview: Cypress Creek Coyotes vs. Springstead Eagles        
        
		
            For the second straight game, Cypress Creek will face off against Springstead. The Coyotes will head out on the road to  take on  the Eagles  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Cypress Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Springstead's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Cypress Creek's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-0  victory over Springstead. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Coyotes.

 Emily Bowling was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Oakley Riley was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Lily Briscoe, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Cypress Creek  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 12  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
 Springstead has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record  this season. As for Cypress Creek, their  win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-9.
