Rhinelander is 10-0 against Tomahawk since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Rhinelander Hodags will be playing at home against the Tomahawk Hatchets at 7:15 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Rhinelander ended up a good deal behind Stevens Point and lost 54-38. The Hodags have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Tomahawk hadn't done well against Rib Lake recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Tomahawk narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Rib Lake 37-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hatchets.

Tomahawk is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Rhinelander, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everything came up roses for Rhinelander against Tomahawk when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 67-31 victory. Will Rhinelander repeat their success, or does Tomahawk have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
