Volleyball Recap: Liberty Hill Starts off Right with Win over Bowie

Liberty Hill had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Bowie Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Liberty Hill walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22.

Falon Stroup paced Liberty Hill's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stroup got some help from Addison Betzen and her 49 assists. Rachel Lewey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Coincidentally, Liberty Hill and Bowie will both be playing Clemens the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Buffaloes at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
