Basketball Recap: Stanley Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Stanley won the last time they faced Evans and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stanley Panthers were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over the Evans Eagles.

Stanley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-13-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Evans, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-29.

Stanley and Evans could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Stanley (ranked 205th) will meet Negreet (ranked 75th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Evans will take on Pleasant Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 274 places (347 vs. 73).
