Basketball Recap: Newark Tech Comes Up Short

Newark Tech was the 60-40 winner over Newark Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Newark Tech Terries lost 53-30 to the Newark Academy Minutemen on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Terries have lost by exactly 23 points.

Newark Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Newark Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Newark Tech has already played their next contest (against East Side), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Newark Academy will face off against University at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
