Soccer Recap: Memphis Business Academy's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Memphis Business Academy was the 2-1 winner over Crosstown when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Execs fell 2-0 to the Explorers on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Memphis Business Academy came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Crosstown are ranked 135th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Memphis Business Academy fell to 8-1. As for Crosstown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, Memphis Business Academy will square off against Pleasant View at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crosstown, they will take on Memphis Rise Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
