Baseball Recap: Liberty Ranch Triumphs

Liberty Ranch won the last time they faced Rio Linda and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Knights 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since March 13th.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty Ranch and bumps their season record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Rio Linda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9-1.

Looking ahead, Liberty Ranch will host El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rio Linda, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sutter at 4:15 p.m. on the 13th.
