Baseball Recap: Bennett Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Bennett's offense. They fell just short of the Parkside Rams by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Bennett's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Parkside, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bennett is set to challenge their familiar foe Wicomico at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Parkside will square off against rival Decatur at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Parkside 2.2, Decatur 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
