Basketball Recap: Druid Hills Takes a Loss

Druid Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Villa Rica Wildcats 81-32.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Villa Rica, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Druid Hills will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Clarkston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Villa Rica, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chapel Hill at 3:00 p.m. on December 6. The Wildcats will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
