Volleyball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost against Grain Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeast was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-8, 25-22.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Grain Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

Northeast will welcome East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grain Valley, they will take on Raymore-Peculiar at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
