Softball Preview: Trumann Wildcats vs. Forrest City Mustangs

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Forrest City's offense. They suffered a tough 15-0 defeat at the hands of Westside on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 32 runs in the game before, Forrest City's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Trumann's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Forrest City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Everything went Trumann's way against Forrest City in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as Trumann made off with a 20-5 victory.
