Heritage and Woodlan are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Heritage had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Southern Wells on Thursday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 13-2 win. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Danica Fuller made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Sydney Martin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Hadlee Shipp was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern Wells only posted an OBP of .200.

Meanwhile, Woodlan unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jay County. The match marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Woodlan, their loss dropped their record down to 16-2.
