It was a Battle of the Birds when Triton challenged Western Harnett on Thursday. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. Palmer Foster had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Triton got from the refs.

The victory got Triton back to even at 9-9-1. As for Western Harnett, they dropped their record down to 3-13-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Triton will square off against Terry Sanford at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
