Aspen came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Roaring Fork Rams by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Skiers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Aspen had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Andrea Lee paced Aspen's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lee got some help from Belle Sinclair and her 16 assists. Lee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Aspen's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Roaring Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Aspen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Jefferson Academy on the 27th. As for Roaring Fork, they will welcome Gunnison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
