Foresthill is 10-0 against Forest Lake Christian since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Foresthill Wildfires will look to defend their home court against the Forest Lake Christian Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Foresthill saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 49-36 to Mariposa County. The Wildfires have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Forest Lake Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin.

Despite the defeat, Forest Lake Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brendan Hooper went 7 of 16 on his way to 26 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. That was a full 48.1% of Forest Lake Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Fenton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Foresthill's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Forest Lake Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything went Foresthill's way against Forest Lake Christian in their previous meeting back in January, as Foresthill made off with a 74-49 win. In that contest, Foresthill amassed a halftime lead of 41-20, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
