The Clearfield Falcons will challenge the Viewmont Vikings at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Clearfield took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down Box Elder 52-33. The Falcons pushed the score to 46-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bees cut but never quite recovered from.

Isabelle Wyaskett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 for 9 en route to 16 points and eight steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024. Brighton Bernards was another key player, putting up three points and five steals.
Clearfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Box Elder only racked up four assists.
Meanwhile, Viewmont waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 47-36 win over the Lakers. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly 11 points.
Clearfield better keep an eye on Mara Mickelson. She was instrumental in Viewmont's win, going 5 of 11 on her way to 13 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Carr, who posted seven points and six rebounds.
Viewmont is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Clearfield, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Clearfield has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Viewmont struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
