Basketball Recap: Friends' Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Friends' Central needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight games and they got it from Pat Feamster. Friends' Central blew past the Atlantic Christian Cougars, posting an 87-35 win thanks in part to Feamster, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 25 points and three steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Moore, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 17 points. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Despite the loss, Atlantic Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Stokes, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. That was a full 71.4% of Atlantic Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Costello, who had three points and five rebounds.

Friends' Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Atlantic Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Friends' Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-43 win against Middletown on the 9th. As for Atlantic Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-38 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 12th.
