Pinckneyville won the last time they faced Nashville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 14-3 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Pinckneyville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Nashville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coming up, Pinckneyville will take on Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nashville, they will square off against Waltonville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
