Football Recap: California Military Institute Rough Riders vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles
California Military Institute fell victim to Tri-City Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Tri-City Christian Eagles.
Joel Valverde was a one-man wrecking crew for Tri-City Christian as he threw for 198 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Ian Johnson also helped out with an impressive 104 receiving yards.
California Military Institute's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tri-City Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
California Military Institute will face off against Temecula Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-City Christian, they will head out to face off against Southwest SD at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
